Iran's Sediqeh Daryaei snatched gold in the 8th Sanda World Cup underway in Xian, China.

On Saturday, Daryaei defeated Vietnamese wushu practitioner — two-time world champion — Nguyen Thi Trang in the women’s -60kg, Tasnim News Agency reported.

The Iranian squad comprises seven athletes (four men and three women).

Hossein Ojaqi and Masoume Qadiri coach Iran's men and women, respectively.

The competition has brought a total of 71 world champions — medalists of Jakarta, Indonesia, 2015 World Wushu Championships Jakarta — from 19 countries.

Started on November 4, the meet will wrap up today.
